Shipments and returns

Please read the terms carefully as use of www.chaircovers4hirelondon.co.uk  site means that you agree to these terms. Chair Covers 4 Hire London Shipping and Returns Policy applies to all the rental orders made at www.chaircovers4hirelondon.co.uk.

Customers who use this site accept all the terms and conditions of this Shipping and Returns Policy before making a rental reservation.

Delivery & Collection

Our delivery & collection charge is based on the amount of goods you are hiring. Please note we only deliver to UK mainland.

Rental Balance and cancellations

The Rental Balance is due immediately including the delivery and fitting, a flat rate security deposit will be required 2 weeks prior to the event. If the reservation is cancelled the following cancellation policy applies to the total transaction amount including delivery, fitting and security deposit:

    Up to 60 days prior to the event date – 90% refund
    Up to 30 days prior to the event date – 50% refund
    Less than 15 days prior to the event date 0% (nil) refund
If payments are not made as per the invoice then an initial £50 charge will be applied together with a daily charge of £15 per day for each and every day or part thereof, including weekends , the invoice remains outstanding.

Security Deposit

The Security Deposit is required for all rental orders being paid via BACs only. This amount is a flat £250.00 for orders less than £500.00 and is due immediately to ensure the timely delivery. This amount will be refunded fully in 5 business days if the reservation is cancelled before the items are shipped or picked up. This amount will be refunded fully in 5 business days after the rental items are returned on time and if there is no loss or damage. The late return fee will be deducted from the refund amount if late return is occurred. Full replacement cost will be deducted from the refund amount if there is any item lost or damaged upon return.

A Reservation Confirmation is sent to customer by email in 48 hours after Chair Covers 4 Hire London receives both the reservation form and the payment. Any reservation without the Security Deposit is not confirmed.

Changes to Reservation

Changes to the Rental Reservation (such as reserved item type, color and quantity) can be made only 10 days prior to the event date. The Request of Change must be made by email only. An updated Reservation Confirmation will be sent in 48 hours after the Request of Change is received.

Shipping and Pickup

The rental items will be delivered up to 1 day prior to the event date if all the required payments are made on time. We ship the rental items to anywhere in the United Kingdom Mainland. Customers are responsible for all the shipping cost which is usually calculated based on the items weight, package size and shipping distance. Customers are responsible to arrange delivery reception. Signature is required on delivery.

Customers must inspect immediately the delivered items, its color and its quantity. If there is any difference between the items received and the items reserved, please contact Chair Covers 4 Hire London as soon as possible. Any defective items must be reported within 24 hours otherwise you will be held liable and the amount will be deducted from your security deposit as the sole discretion of Chair Covers 4 Hire. We do not offer a collection service from our premises.

All items are delivered on a next day service if the order is placed before 10:00am and collected on a before Midday service. We are not responsible for any items not delivered or delivered late outside our control. All next day deliveries are on a best effort basis only. A substitute items may be provided if the item you require is out of stock.

The rental items are required to be shipped for returning in 2 business days after the event date, or as stated on the invoice whichever is earlier (Timely Manner). All the items must be un-tied and folded neatly before packing. Customers are not responsible for laundering. However, all the items must be dry and free of food or debris before packing. Any mildewed item is considered as damaged item and full replacement fee will be charged. It is imperative that all the rental items must be returned in a Timely Manner, or late return fee will be charged as 100% of the rental per day. Late return is counted from the date when goods should have been returned, and includes weekdays and weekends.

For dry hire items (i.e. were the the client is responsible for setup and removal of items) the following charges will apply if our staff have to remove or setup the items, unless agreed otherwise and stated on the invoice:

Chair covers £1.00 per cover

Sash £0.50 each

Table Line £1.00

Table runners £0.50 each

Vases £2.00 each

All other items  will be charged at the sole discretion of Chair Covers 4 Hire.

If collection times are not not stated on the invoice then the items must be ready for collection by 7:00am on the day stated on the invoice.

All the rental items must be returned in the same quantity and condition as when customer receives them in (i.e., no tears, rips, holes or wax stains) or full replacement cost will be charged as 5 times the rental for each item.

By placing an order, making a payment, or returning items, the customer accepts all the terms and conditions of this Shipping and Returns Policy. The Customer understands that a breach of contract will result in collections of fees by Chair Covers 4 Hire London. The Customer will therefore be responsible for all fees associated with the collections process, including legal fees and litigation fees, in the event that the contract has been breached.

Chair Covers 4 Hire London reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this Shipping and Returns Policy. Customers must read and accept all the terms and conditions of this Rental Policy before making rental reservation.
